Description:
TruMed Systems, Inc. is the fastest growing vaccine storage and handling company. TruMed serves individual clinics, major health systems, and public healthcare facilities throughout the U.S. TruMed’s mission is to improve health care practitioners’ total outcomes by creating point-of-care inventory management systems that support product efficacy, patient safety, and practice objectives. Our first two products are the AccuVax® Vaccine Management System and AccuShelf® Inventory Management System. Together, our products secure medication and material storage and management that automates control and integrity, minimizes risks of incorrect medication delivery, tracks inventory for all medications and optimizes office workflow in the healthcare settings.

Responsibilities:
The Integration Engineer is responsible for the design and implementation of TruMed’s Electronic Health Record and wholesaler ordering integrations.  This includes developing new features, building new native integrations with various vendors, maintaining existing integrations, and working with customers to turn on new integrations.

What is expected of you for success in your role:
  • Develops and maintains a data transformation engine that will be the interface between 3rd party vendors and the TruMed portal.
  • Acts as primary technical liaison between TruMed Systems, third party EHR vendors and customers from Pre-Sales engagement through implementation, installation at customer sites, and support.
  • Collaborates internally and externally with all stakeholders; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas.
  • Acts as level 2/3 escalation and assists Engineering, Customer Support, and Sales to support related field issues. This includes the ability to investigate and troubleshoot problems under significant time pressure.
  • Utilizes advanced root cause/failure analysis skills working cross-functionally to diagnose problems and proposes risk-based solutions to mitigate and/or eliminate them.
  • Determines operational feasibility of solutions by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and weighing the benefits of each over complexity, cost, and level of effort.
  • Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
  • Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service for related issues.
  • Coordinates with and assists DevOps in network and system management

Qualifications:
  • Strong software developer with experience working in multiple languages.
  • Experience working with and maintaining data interface engines such as Mirth .
  • Experience building EHR system integrations and communicating with both vendors and customers, including soliciting requirements and resolving conflicts between all interested/affected parties.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams and management to collect requirements, identify tasks, provide estimates and meet production deadlines
  • Experience in networking and infrastructure.
Requirements:
  • Strong working knowledge of HL7.
  • Must be an outstanding problem solver.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication and organizational capabilities with department, staff, customers and vendors.
  • Sense of urgency, an ability to be able to prioritize daily tasks and issues.
  • 3-5 years C# and .NET experience
  • Strong organization, oral and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor degree required, preferably in a technical discipline.
  • 5-10 years of experience in a similarly scoped role.

Desired Experience:
  • Master degree preferred
  • Experience writing complex SQL queries for SQL Server or another Relational Database
  • Mirth Connect Experience
