Job Summary:
The Logistics Lead is responsible for owning and executing TruMed’s end-to-end logistics operations with increased autonomy and decision-making authority. This role partners closely with Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, and external vendors to ensure reliable inbound and outbound logistics, support warehouse operations, and manage ongoing procurement and replenishment of replacement parts. The Logistics Lead will help establish scalable logistics processes as the company expands its warehouse footprint and will serve as the primary operational point of contact for logistics vendors and parts suppliers.

The Logistics Lead will help establish scalable logistics processes as the company expands its warehouse footprint and will serve as the primary operational point of contact for logistics vendors and parts suppliers.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Own day-to-day logistics operations, including domestic and limited international shipping, receiving, and returns.
- Support the ongoing operations of TruMed’s warehouse, inbound receiving flows, outbound fulfillment, and inventory movement.
- Coordinate closely with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to resolve operational issues and ensure on-time delivery.
- Prepare, review, and submit all shipping documentation, including import/export paperwork, in compliance with applicable regulations.
- Manage reordering and replenishment of replacement parts and logistics-related materials across multiple vendors.
- Own vendor relationships related to logistics and parts procurement, including communication, performance tracking, and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality to support RMAs, non-conforming material disposition, and scrap processes.
- Maintain accurate Asset and FRU inventory records across all warehouses and storage locations, ensuring system data aligns with physical inventory.
- Analyze freight cost, service levels, and carrier performance; recommend and implement improvements.
- Develop, document, and maintain logistics processes, work instructions, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Identify and implement system and process improvements to improve scalability, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Track and report logistics KPIs (on-time delivery, freight cost, carrier performance, inventory movement) to Operations leadership.
- Support trade show and field logistics as needed.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.

- Replacement parts are reordered proactively, minimizing stockouts and operational delays.

- Logistics processes improve measurably over time through continuous improvement efforts.

Minimum Education, Experience, Skills & Knowledge
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree is desired, preferably in Business, Logistics, or related field or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Logistics function required. Experience in white glove, large and heavy item logistics preferred.
